Archaeological Survey of India, Hyderabad circle after bifurcation is left with only 8 monuments and sites from it earlier 137 of which 3 are ticketed and they are the pride of Telangana. On the basis of the present scenario, Hyderabad circle besides taking up developmental activities of its sites, wish to increase the number of monuments and sites under its protection as in 31 districts of Telangana there are only 8 monuments/sites.

            So, it is requested that if the District Administration feels there are some monuments/sites within their jurisdiction which are of national importance, encroachment free, without modern intervention, open area for taking up developmental works; such sites be recommended to ASI for protection. With the following details which are needed to prepare the protection proposal. 

1.       Revenue map should be duly signed by revenue authority.

2.       Site plan should be duly signed by revenue authority.

3.       Revenue schedule should be duly authenticated by revenue official.

4.       No objection Certificate from village Panchayat. Local Administration Authority, District Authority, State Government and Owners.
